Introducing the Conceal Web Wallet
Good Day Concealers! Today we are very happy to announce the official release of our very first, completely Client-Side Web Wallet for the Conceal Network!
We have heard many of you over the years expressing Concerns over our Cloud Wallets being a centralized service. While it was created only for user convenience, we also understand why some may not wish to use such a wallet, especially in order to guard their Privacy and Security to the best of their ability. Because of these concerns, our tool for convenience actually ended up becoming an inconvenience for many who simply wanted an effective mobile or web wallet without needing to connect to a third party(in this case, the Conceal Cloud Servers) and log in with any type of credentials.
And so, in an effort to live up to our ideals of Top-Notch Privacy, Security, and Decentralization, we thought it was necessary to work towards an easy-to-use web wallet that would allow users to access their CCX with no central authority and from any device.
Enter the Conceal Web Wallet.
With this new wallet interface, Concealers can create a new wallet, restore an old wallet from either a seed phrase or private keys, sync the Conceal blockchain, and send/receive CCX, all from within your browser! Your wallet keys will be encrypted and stored on your device, furthering our goal of complete Decentralization, no sign-ups or logins are required!
Our new Web Wallet will work on any PC, MAC, Linux, iOS, or Android device. As long as you have a compatible browser installed, you can interact with the Conceal Network without relying on our Cloud Infrastructure as a host. In addition to this, we will be building more functionality into this wallet over time, and we hope that the use of this wallet will act as a replacement to our Cloud wallets at some time in the future.
